Founded in 1913, Olds College has been providing quality education for over a century. With a focus on agriculture, horticulture, land and environmental stewardship, we are proud to be Canada’s Smart Agriculture College. Our regular, continued, online and blended programming offers accessible educational opportunities within Alberta and beyond. We work closely with industry to ensure our graduates have the skills to succeed.
Our areas of expertise include Agriculture, Agriculture Technology, Animal Science, Brewing, Business, Equine, Horticulture, Land & Environment, Meat Processing, Tourism, Trades & Apprenticeships and Transitional Employment. Our emphasis on hands-on training, applied research and innovative learning has resulted in graduates who are in-demand.
On-campus housing is available in our newly constructed Centennial Village private rooms or College Courts townhouses. Living on campus provides many advantages both socially and academically. Off-campus housing is also available through the Students’ Association (SAOC).
Our Career Services Office provides extensive services to students including career fairs, resume-writing and interview skills workshops and an online job board. The Broncos Athletics program competes in 8 different sports in the Alberta Collegiate Athletics Conference (ACAC). A variety of clubs are also supported by the SAOC.
Olds College is situated on traditional Treaty Seven Territory. We have developed two new spaces to enhance our indigenous students’ experience at Olds College: The Olds College Indigenous Centre gathering place and a traditional Blackfoot tipi. Olds College Health & Wellness provides free and confidential services to support students.
