The one-year Scriptwriting Ontario College Graduate Certificate program provides you with the knowledge, writing experience and hands-on skills necessary to become a writer in the ever-expanding fields of film, television, theatre, video and digital media content.

Prerequisites:*	These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Community college diploma, a university degree or partially-completed university degree, or two or more years of appropriate post-secondary experience: AND Submission of a 500-word written piece identifying the applicant`s suitability for a profession in scriptwriting as well as describing the film, media, theatre, writing or other writing-related experience qualifying you for this program. Test Scores:	International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 88]
Application Notes :	Applicants with international transcripts must provide proof of the subject specific requirements noted above and may be required to provide proof of language proficiency.
Additional Admission Requirements:	Portfolio Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, Degree or equivalent or partially-completed degree, or two or more years of appropriate post-secondary experience; AND Submission of a 500-word written piece identifying the applicant`s suitability for a profession in scriptwriting as well as describing the film, media, theatre, writing or other writing-related experience qualifying you for this program. College fees are set in accordance with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities’ policies. Fees must be paid each term for you to officially register for your classes. Your costs will vary depending on your program of study, lifestyle and other variables.
