Description: This pilot training program is the only collaborative diploma program that offers students a choice between flying airplanes at Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre or flying helicopters at Great Lakes Helicopter. Through pilot training at one of the flight centres and classes at Conestoga College, students can complete the Aviation – General Arts and Science diploma in only two years as well as the pilot training to allow them to undertake the Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License testing.

Please be advised: Training fees for Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre and Great Lakes Helicopter are in addition to Conestoga College tuition fees. Over a two-year period, Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre training fees total approximately $73,000, and start at $56,000 for Great Lakes Helicopter. Fees could increase depending on the type of aircraft or the number of hours to complete program levels. Flight time fees may be reduced depending on the flight time hours the student has completed prior to enrolling in the program and the minimum hours required to complete the program.
